Vidarbha region got its first generic medicine shop in November, 2012 thanks to the efforts of the Nagpur-based consumer forum, Janmanch, reports Down to Earth.

American scientist invents plastic light bulb

A US scientist has invented a new kind of light bulb that uses plastic polymers and nano materials to generate light that is more energy-efficient than current fluorescent lights and is easier on the eye, reports The Hindu.
